Professor Sallie Pearson is a Professor of Health Systems and an internationally recognised expert in cancer outcomes and medicines policy. Her research examines how access to cancer medicines influences treatment patterns and patient outcomes, using whole-of-population health data. She has extensive experience generating evidence to support policy decisions on the funding, availability and equitable use of essential cancer treatments, with a strong focus on improving outcomes for Australian patients.
