Dr Bianca Devitt is a medical oncologist at Eastern Health where she focuses on the care of people with breast and lung cancer. Her PhD examined complex health interventions, and in particular, focused on the function of cancer multidisciplinary team meetings (MDMs). She has led a number of investigator driven studies utilising both qualitative and quantitative methodologies. Her current research interests include understanding the toxicity and functional outcomes of older people diagnosed with cancer, health literacy and developing methods to improve treatment planning and decision making in MDMs.
