Prof Louise Emmett is the Director of Theranostics and Nuclear medicine at St Vincent’s Hospital Sydney, with a current specialty interest in the imaging and therapy of prostate Cancer. She undertook her medical undergraduate training in Auckland, New Zealand. She has a strong interest in research completing a Doctorate of Medicine based on publications in 2012. She commenced work in Nuclear medicine and PET at St Vincent’s Hospital, Sydney in 2012, initiating radio-pharmacy production of multiple new imaging and therapy peptides on the St Vincent’s campus for clinical and research evaluation. She is heavily involved in multi-disciplinary prostate cancer research in Australia, including both imaging and therapy.
