Western Sydney University

WSU is a young and vibrant research-led University that nurtures a translational research culture. The School of Medicine is founded upon values that support improving the health of all, but in particular the most disadvantaged in our communities. We believe excellent research and practical outcomes are essential parts of our overarching research mission. Our research facilities span the award‐winning School of Medicine (Ainsworth) building, the clinical schools at our major teaching hospitals (Blacktown/Campbelltown) and the Ingham Institute for Applied Medical Research. Our research focusses on Diabetes, Women’s Health, Cancer and Neuroscience encompassing basic molecular biology through to community-based implementation.
