The University of Sydney, Cancer Research Network

Cancer Research at the University of Sydney
The University of Sydney has been challenging traditions for over 170 years. We produce leaders to serve our communities at every level. Our vision for the next decade is unashamedly aspirational: to be known as a place where our education is transformational, where our community thrives through diversity, and our research tackles the world’s greatest challenges. Whether in small steps, or giant leaps, the things we do today will change tomorrow. When leadership is for all of us, it is leadership for good.
The Cancer Research Network (CRN) has been linking researchers from across the University of Sydney, its teaching hospitals and affiliated research bodies since 2006. We facilitate collaboration with the goals of achieving international excellence and reducing the impact of cancer. Located within the Faculty of Medicine and Health, which has a long history of excellence in health education and research, we are focused on making and shaping the future of global healthcare. Our cancer researcher community is dedicated to improving outcomes for those living with cancer and promoting equity of access for all.
Cancer researchers of all levels can join our membership, free, to make new connections and keep informed of activities and opportunities in cancer research. The CRN supports several Special Interest Groups which focus on a range of areas including breast, bowel, pancreatic, prostate, skin and brain cancer, and cross-cutting themes including artificial intelligence in cancer care, patient experience and survivorship.
