Event Welcome

Maridulu Budyari Gumal - SPHERE, in conjunction with Sydney Cancer Partners and NSW Regional Health Partners (through the NSW Regional Cancer Research Network), are pleased to host the face-to-face NSW Cancer Conference on the 18th & 19th of September 2023 at the International Convention Centre (ICC) Sydney. The conference, in its second year, represents a significant milestone for cancer research in NSW by bringing together both metropolitan and regional centres from across NSW for a truly state-wide, cross-institutional meeting focused on research for better cancer outcomes across the cancer continuum. The event will build on existing relationships and collaborations to present an inclusive and accessible conference promoting understanding across institutions in NSW and breaking down research silos.

The conference aims to showcase existing and emerging strengths in cancer research across NSW and beyond, through high-calibre presentations from international, interstate, and local speakers.  Importantly, the program highlights cancer research from the entire translational research continuum – including basic biomedical, public health, clinical and psychosocial.
