The registration desk is located in the Parkside Ballroom Foyer. Any enquiries regarding your participation in the NSW Cancer Conference 2023 can be directed to the ASN staff onsite.
The registration desk opening hours are as follows:

SOCIAL FUNCTION
Networking Canapes & Poster Viewing
Date: Monday 18 September
Time: 5:30pm – 7:00 pm
Room: Parkside Ballroom
Cost: Included in full registration and $80 for accompanying person ticket.
If you have nominated for a special meal (dietary requirements, vegetarian, etc.) please identify yourself to the catering staff. All requests have been passed on and will be catered for accordingly.
ORAL PRESENTATIONS
You should bring your talk on a USB, saved in a format for upload to the PC within your allocated presentation room (i.e. PowerPoint).
You will need to load your presentation well in advance before the start of the session with the in-room AV technician (i.e. the session break before your session). Each room has different operating hours, listed below.
The technician will be on hand to assist with any transfer / loading issues and to help you check your presentation. Please note there are no Macintosh computers in the preparation rooms – please format your USB drives appropriately (FAT32). The preferred presentation dimensions are 16:9 however 4:3 will also display sufficiently.

POSTER VIEWING/DISPLAYING
You will be able to display your poster when registration opens on Monday 18 September within the Parkside Ballroom (Exhibition). Your poster can be displayed for the entirety of the conference; however, you are required to stand next to your poster during your allocated poster session (see details below). Your poster must be removed after lunch on Tuesday. Any posters left on poster panels after this time, will be taken down. Velcro will be supplied at your poster number to attach your poster. We request that you stand by your poster during your allocated poster session.
Session 1 - Monday 18th September - 12:45pm - 2:15pm: Odd Numbered Poster Numbers
Session 2 - Tuesday 19th September - 1:00pm – 2:30pm: Even Numbered Poster Numbers
General Poster Viewing Session: Feel free to stand by your poster and network amongst your peers during the welcome cocktail reception (& joint poster networking session). This is not a mandatory poster viewing time but presents another opportunity for the exchange of ideas for people who work within similar fields and research as yourself.

PEOPLES CHOICE POSTER JUDGING
This year everyone will be able to vote for their favourite poster during the conference.
Voting opens 1:00PM Monday 18th September and will close at 2:30PM Tuesday 19th September.

Q&A - SLIDO
All Q&A sessions in the Cockle Bay Room will be conducted through Slido.

Then select the Session/Room you wish to ask questions in.
The chairs in the session will monitor and pass on your questions.
NAMETAGS
Delegates are required to wear their nametags to all scientific and catered sessions.

As a courtesy to the speakers and your fellow attendees, please switch your mobile device(s) to silent while attending the sessions. If using a mobile device (phone, tablet, or camera) to take non-flash photography during Meeting sessions, please be courteous to fellow attendees and refrain from blocking the view of those seated behind you.
